Recycle 1st Compliance Scheme

At Recycle 1st we take over the complete management of your compliance with the Packaging Regulations in both Great Britain and Northern Ireland. We aim to make the entire process as easy as possible regardless of the size, location or complexity of your business. As a member of our scheme you will have your legal obligation transferred to us and unlimited technical support to help you gather your data. Members are also able to take advantage of free waste and recycling surveys, site visits, and support for Environment Agency visits.

We offer fair and cost effective compliance. We do not put hefty margins on to the price of PRNs or charge extra to subsidise other activities that bring no benefit to members. Simply pay the annual fee and there will be no other costs related to membership. Using our own accredited reprocessing plants we are able to provide Recycle 1st with low cost PRNs.  By using Greenstar for all your waste and recycling services you can gain revenue from recycling which will help pay for the cost of compliance and in some cases generate your own PRNs.

As a member of the scheme you will also be kept up to date on the latest developments within the recycling industry through newsletters and the website. Recycle 1st will also discharge your responsibilities under the Consumer Information Obligations allowing you peace of mind. As one of the largest compliance schemes in the UK, Recycle 1st is able to provide its members with a bespoke, low cost option supported by specialist knowledge.
